Who Are We?

Shelfbyte exists because collecting deserves honesty. We talk comics, games, and collectibles without the fake gloss or corporate grin.

We’re Shelfbyte. We call it how we see it.

We don’t care about the endless culture wars, outrage cycles, or whatever’s trending on X this week. None of that matters here. What we care about are the things that actually last: great stories, iconic collectibles, and the fandoms that grow around them.

We’re sick of companies smiling in our faces while they pick our pockets. Slapping “limited edition” labels on junk, manufacturing hype, and selling us nostalgia at double the price. Collecting is supposed to be about passion, not profit margins.

Shelfbyte exists because someone has to say it out loud. We’re not here to sell you a dream, a quick flip, or another hollow brand tie-in. We don't run ads. We don't have partnerships. We aren't owned by anyone.

We’re here to dig into the stuff that’s worth remembering: the comics, the games, the collectibles, and the stories.

That’s who we are. Take it or leave it.

Memberships (cheap talk, real support)

There’s no secret archive. No annoying newsletter. No ads.

You pay, and you get to comment. Also, you help keep us ad-free.

That’s it. Please, don't ask for print-on-demand merch garbage.

Fresh content (like you need it)

We publish new articles about fandoms, games, comics, and digital collecting. Our staff is small. They care. Their articles will show up here, whether you care or not. You won't agree with everything they write. That's the point.

Meet people like you (unfortunately)

There is a whole community of collectors, gamers, and pop culture die-hards out there. Some of them lurk here. Some of them argue in comment sections. If you came looking for a club, this isn't it.
